setting boundaries

Setting boundaries. Saying ‘no’. Making clear to a client that something is impossible.
That’s hard.
And it‘s even harder when your passion is also your profession.

Because you often WANT to say yes to a certain job, although you don’t have time for it.
Or you say yes ‘cause you’re afraid that a client will never come back if you turn them down once.
Or you say yes ‘cause you’re a loyal professional who wants to help a client-in-need out.

But your hesitant ‘yes’ often causes you stress, frustration, too many working hours, missing out on ‘off time’, a lack of sleep, and so on.

WHAT can you avoid this tendency to say yes?

And how, HOW can you set clear boundaries and guard them firmly but friendly?
(in video 02:32)

Let me tell you!

So yes. Some clients might be disappointed or not very pleased.

But you know what?

  • MOST of your clients will look up to you as a strong person with a professional attitude.

  • They might learn something from you.

  • The workflow between you and your client might level up to a more professional level.

Saying no might seem like a loss at first, but you’ll notice that it gives you room and space. And that it will evolve into getting jobs that suit YOU, YOUR life and YOUR schedule. Result: a boost of creativity and happiness.

Yes to the No!
