Stefanie Verhoeyen
Graphic & motion designer
What an impressive result! Stefanie (@studio_verho) had her webshop (@ben.en.simone) up and running after 4 months. Our trajectory started from scratch, with her dream as an illustrator to find a balance between service-based and product-oriented work.
And she succeeded. Although Stefanie wanted to work on her time-management skills during the trajectory, it soon became clear that she was a @notionhq wizard. I could clearly follow her planning every step of the way.
During the trajectory we discussed these topics: pricing (and how to communicate about her new day rate), self-confidence (more daring, less doubt), what parameters her clients must have, balancing work, life, building the webshop and her freelance job as a motion designer & illustrator. Streamlining the balance was absolutely necessary, especially when you want to start a new personal project.
I saw Stefanie grow. By asking the right and often difficult questions, I challenged her to self-reflect and to step out of her comfort zone.
What I learned during our trajectory:
I want to keep the role of coach, but sometimes I'm allowed to be detached from it. If there are questions about prices, I am not always comfortable giving advice. There are other experts for that. But I do know that I can give advice when it is well-founded with sufficient knowledge. I also notice that my clients' problems are big in their eyes and that I can help them best by breaking problems down into micro (very, very small) parts.⠀
