Sara Minoodt
Graphic designer

After 3 years of working in a secondary profession, Sara, graphic designer @koesterdruk, decided to switch and run her own business full time.

It was an intense collaboration in which we got to the bottom of all departments. The focus was working on her business instead of for her clients. Saying no to tight deadlines, setting boundaries, bringing structure to her planning and monitoring it more accurately.

We sharpened her offer and pricing. It strengthened her position. She became more assertive in making decisions and in negotiations with partners.

After the trajectory, she notices that she has developed a business mindset: "I no longer see my business as 'being paid to pursue my passion', but as a business from which I earn money."

A learning point for all of us:

When your profession is an extension of your passion, it is sometimes difficult to look at it objectively. You take feedback or replies too personally because they go straight to your heart and soul. You and your business are connected, but it is also a separate entity. Keep this in mind, consider the business side as well, you will be able to make rational decisions more easily.
