Ruben Boidin
Videographer
Ruben (@rubenboidin) had a clear question for me. "I want a clear vision and more structure.” I must say, it wasn’t an easy exercise to bring structure to someone whose time is so fragmented.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why? Because Ruben is involved in many different things. I mean, many (many 😉). In varying order: photographer, videographer, podcast maker, manager at @allesisfake, director, musician at @uberdope.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What helped is at the beginning of our trajectory we categorised his projects according to what he likes doing most and what is most profitable.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We then made a choice to focus on those categories (❤️ + 💶) and develop a vision over the long term. He expressed his dreams, we went from vision to strategy, to concrete goals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I brought structure into his life by micro-managing his time for a short period during our trajectory. Yes, he agreed on this 🙃. It’s difficult to break old patterns and creating new habits. We made it work by keeping close contact via WhatsApp.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Having a clear vision and more structure in his life resulted in a more professional approach he said. “By properly defining my work, I get more work done and there is more time to relax.”⠀⠀
