Emma Veulemans
Visual artist

When Emma (@emmaveulemans) approached me, she was balancing her role as a part-time employee with her deep passion for painting. With a baby on the way, she felt the urgency to redefine her creative life and take her artistry to the next level. Emma dreamed of a stable, fulfilling career as a full-time painter, but the realities of marketing, planning, and self-promotion often left her overwhelmed and second-guessing her potential.

Through our coaching, we structured her ambitions and built her confidence as an artist. We focused on:

  • Clarifying her vision: mapping out long-term goals breaking them down into actionable steps, such as organizing exhibitions, creating consistent work schedules, and finding alternative revenue streams.

  • Overcoming obstacles: Emma faced significant challenges, such as the fear of self-promotion and the pressure to prioritize non-creative tasks over her art. Shift her mindset about selling art, embracing it as an essential part of her journey toward full-time independence.

  • Practical planning: creating a structured schedule with clear milestones.

  • Expanding her network: to attract new clients, we ways to step outside her immediate circle.

Emma launched her website, developed a catalog, and secured her first solo exhibition, ‘In de wolken’. With structured marketing and sales goals in place, she took bold steps toward a sustainable art career. More importantly, she gained the confidence to own her artistic identity and build a thriving creative practice.

I can’t wait to see where her art takes her next! ❤️
